Prayer of Moses

This prayer is on the back of this card:
Prayer of Moses
Father, I come to you in the name of your son, Jesus Christ
and ask that you would have mercy on each vulnerable
child of this generation
where the enemy would try to destroy them
I ask that you cover them with your hand of protection
protecting the born and the unborn
mother and child
for you have created them
formed them for your glory
give mothers wisdom and strength
Lord, give them a plan of protection
and the strength to do whatever it takes to keep their children safe
Father, all children are a blessing from you
so, just as you gave Moses’s mother a plan
pour out your wisdom on all mothers in crisis
just as you sent Pharaoh’s daughter to the river
to draw Moses from the water
send foster mothers to pick up these little ones in desperate need
give them a heart to support the birth mother
that these children would not be abandoned
but built up in love and security as
God’s will for each precious life is fulfilled.
